From Seattle to Philadelphia to Sedona (and a site visit in Fiji), our incredible team produced 140 events and took home numerous local and international awards celebrating our work. Amazon’s second annual Winter Wonderland was a h Amazon’s second annual Winter Wonderland was a huge success! Winter Wonderland is a major undertaking for everyone involved and the reward you get from seeing the magic on each kid’s face makes every bit of hard work worth it. From selecting all the gifts, merchandising the toy store, sourcing entertainment, designing the space, and everything in between, we love partnering with Amazon’s Community Engagement team. By the numbers: - 1 day - 3 events - 3 Seahawk legends - 12 nonprofit partners - 35 performers - 300+ Amazon volunteers - 600+ ginger houses built - 1,500 sports balls, inflated with 10 air pumps over 2 days by a team of 20 volunteers - 1,599 guests registered - 9,600 toys distributed to children in need A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a success! Our client, Argos International, raised a record $ Our client, Argos International, raised a record $808,000 at their 40th anniversary celebration gala last month, announcing an additional $1 million pledge to buy new land in Honduras to support their mission of lifting rural farmers in Central America out of extreme poverty! We loved the celebratory energy of this event, especially the live salsa band and ballroom dance performance. 💃🪘 Fun Fact: Award-winning, professional ballroom dancer, Maria Andrea Solano, is the daughter of Argos International’s Executive Director, Aberto Solano. And, at the end of the night, Alberto showed off his own salsa moves with the band! From the moment you step into Pilchuck Glass Schoo From the moment you step into Pilchuck Glass School’s Auction, you can’t help but feel the energy that is Pilchuck. Being surrounded by ~200 of the most fragile and complicated one-of-a-kind pieces of art is nothing short of awe inspiring. And if you are lucky enough to get to visit the school’s campus, in the woods of Stanwood, WA, you come to realize that the inspiration goes so much deeper than the completed works of art – it’s an energy that is the soul of the school. This year’s auction theme: Stardust Dreams, perfectly captured the magic that is Pilchuck – the starry sky the surrounds the school and the dreams of artists from all across the globe. Glass art adds a level of complexity that is beyond most auctions. From the jury that selects the art to the crew of trained art handlers who pack, move, unpack, display, light, label and repack the items – it’s an enormous behind-the-scenes undertaking. During the event approximately 85 people help ensure the event logistics run like clockwork. From stage managing to entertainment to volunteer coordination, Tolo Events is honored to be Pilchuck Glass School’s auction event production partner. After curating the execution and design for a C-Su After curating the execution and design for a C-Suite marketing event in Seattle this past February, our client invited us to help them rebuild a similar experience for their customers in Boulder, CO. ⁠ ⁠ We managed all aspects including sourcing local cuisine, entertainment and dessert offerings. Inspired by the natural beauty of the mountains, we weaved jewel tones and natural wood elements into our design to create a warm and welcoming experience.
